Journale Lucy Fricke’s Töchter: A Translation Road Trip

Born in Avignon, France, Isabelle Liber has lived and worked in Berlin since 2003. Her first German-French literary translation was published by Actes Sud in 2002. As well as translating, Isabelle enjoys the other creative aspects of her work, from discussing book design through meeting readers at events to training young translators. Her translations include works by David Wagner, Karen Köhler and Alina Bronsky. Isabelle’s translation of Töchter (Les occasions manquées) was published by Le Quartanier in September 2021.
